To complete my writing on emotional rap, today I’ve got a Kid Cudi playlist for you.

For those unfamiliar, a lot of Kid Cudi’s stuff deals with feelings of depression and isolation.  His first album Man on the Moon is a groundbreaking classic.  Unfortunately, since then, he has been unable to match that standard. But I want to give a full picture of Cudi, so I’m using songs from 5 of his 6 albums in this playlist.  Yes… even Speeding Bullet 2 Heaven, which I probably one of the worst albums I’ve heard.  I’m leaving out Satellite Flight because that was his lowest profile release.

He also has a lot of great, non-album music.  His mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, is phenomenal, and when he was signed with GOOD Music, he did some amazing work with Kanye.  He appears on 808s & HeartbreakMy Beautiful Dark Twisted Family, GOOD Fridays, Cruel Summer, and has some short but memorable features on Yeezus and The Life of Pablo.

Enjoy…
